NEPAL SHAMANISM AND TRIBAL SCULPTURE (C.Lequindre and M.Petit)

A few years ago i've bought the book from Christian Lequindre and Marc Petit : "Nepal, Shamanism and Tribal Sculpture" (267 pages, ed. Infolio, 2009). It was the first time i've seen tribal sculptures from Nepal and it was a shock....I've never seen so much powerful figures before....

I've contacted Mr Lequindre to ask him if i can publish on my blog some sculptures presented in the book. He was agree and proposed me to publish also some pictures from his expedition in the region of Jumla in 2005 that were already edited on the Cd-Rom accompanying the book...

HERE YOU CAN FIND A LINK TO THE PHOTO ALBUM SHOWING SOME SCULPTURES PRESENTED IN THE BOOK : http://tribalsculpturesfromnepal.skynetblogs.be/album/nep...

Je vous remercie et vous recommande vivement cet ouvrage qui a été, pour moi, le déclencheur de ma passion pour les arts "tribaux" du Népal...

Cordialement,
David
