GIUSEPPE TUCCI......

Giuseppe Tucci (5 June 1894 – 5 April 1984) was an Italian scholar of oriental cultures, specialising in Tibet and history of Buddhism.

In the years 50's  he's made some expeditions in Nepal.  The reports of his expedition in Western Nepal was retranscript in a book published, first in Italian (1957) and after a few years in English (1962). Here are the few pictures concerning the tribals sculptures illustrating these books....
